A Lagos State Community Champion and Social Justice Advocate, Aduragbemi 'Lanre Olaide, has commended the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Lagos State; Soledayo Ralf Akinbisehin, for his outstanding professionalism, high sense of responsibility and remarkable leadership acumen in the discharge of his duties.
Comrade 'Lanre Olaide in a statement said under Akinbisehin stewardship, the SCID has continued to operate with exceptional investigative depth, strategic coordination and firm commitment to due process.
He said: "His approach to law enforcement reflects not only operational competence but also a deep respect for human dignity and constitutional rights.
"At a time when public confidence in security institutions remains critical, DCP ‘Dayo Akinbisehin has demonstrated that effective policing can indeed be achieved through a balanced blend of firmness and humanity".
"His calm disposition, fairness in handling cases and openness to lawful engagement have significantly strengthened trust between the police and members of the public".
"His leadership style inspires discipline, professionalism and teamwork among officers under his command". Through clear direction, accountability and ethical standards, he has fostered a culture of excellence within the SCID.
"The successes recorded in criminal investigations and case management during his tenure stand as testimony to his strategic foresight and administrative capability".
"It is particularly noteworthy that there have been numerous accounts from families of accused persons attesting to the diligent and decisive manner in which their matters were handled — without the usual allegations of police extortion or excesses. Such reports represent a refreshing and commendable shift, especially in recent times.
"As a social justice advocate, I therefore acknowledge and deeply appreciate his dedication to service, commitment to justice, humanity and unwavering resolve to uphold the rule of law.
