Reps Deputy Minority Whip, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya makes PDP, PCC List, with Special Number 567



The Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya has made the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign Committee list alongside others across the thirty-six states of the federation.


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced 28th September, 2022, as the date for the commencement of presidential campaigns.

PDP Presidential candidate and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, in September  promised that the campaign council will be constituted as soon as possible.

The list released by the National Organising Secretary of the Party, Umar Bature, has the Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Emmanuel, as Chairman, his Bauchi state counterpart, Bala Mohammed, as Vice Chairman, North, and the Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde, as Vice Chairman, South.

The list comprises of a National Campaign Management Committee, led by the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, as Director General, Senator Liyel Imoke, as Deputy DG operations, Professor Adewale Oladipo, DDG administration, Raymond Dokpesi (Technical and Systems), Okwesileze Nwodo (Research and Strategy) and Adeyemi Mayegun, is to serve as administrative secretary to the campaign council also *the Deputy Minority Whip, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Adekoya as a special member on the list.* 

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, whose name appeared as number 13 on the list, was named along with most of his associates as a member.

The list also consists of the names of former Vice President Namadi Sambo, serving as well as former State Governors of the party, former Ministers, all former Senate Presidents of the party, who are still members of the PDP, members of the Board of Trustees, among others. 

The complete list is expected to be officially released by the executives of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in the coming week for public use.
